Dear Sr. Chavez: Forgive the English, but my translator is not available at this moment. You should be able to easily find someone you know that can read this message to you. I first mailed you the enclosed material in July, right after your presidential election. Since neither my partner Ernesto nor myself have heard anything from you…I’m wondering if, perhaps, you’ve never received it. For this reason I’m now mailing it to you again. I hope you eventually get it.... It’s too bad about the Reformagaria’s decision about "our" Rancho El Carrizalito; even with 100% the physical evidence on "our" side. Although I’ve been preparing for the ugly fight that is now going to take place, for a long, long time…I’d still prefer not to fight. Your Plano Definativo cannot stand up to public scrutiny, but that, on the Internet, in English and Spanish, is my intention: Put Plano Definativo for Ejido San Jose De La Noria under public scrutiny. Already, I’ve got almost all my attack written. Yes! The Internet, a media source that can’t be censored by governments. And, yes, I understand that most Mexicans in the S. Baja don’t have Internet access…but a growing number of them do. Enough to shine a bright light on this fight’s subject. What a delicious challenge, those trying to pull the theft of that Plano Deflnativo off have handed me. I’ve often wondered if it was tough and smart enough to fight this fight…and now I get my chance to know. Regards, David Smith
